3.1 Extra, to think about

If you've done all that and are bored, try the following: generate a cross-wave file of couples, containing variables you consider interesting, and think of ways of presenting/summarising the information.

Some couples come into being during the panel, some dissolve, some have gaps: how can you represent this?

Given an cross-tabulation of spouses' characteristics in any one year, how can you summarise the cells across the panel? Turn the table into same/different, lower/equal/higher?
