4.1.3 Step 3: Use VECTOR/LOOP to make substantively interesting summaries

When you are happy with the loop structure, use it to make some substantively interesting summaries:

  1. For each individual count how many full interviews s/he gives, how many proxy (wQFEDHI will be -7), how many completely absent.
  2. Identify entries into unemployment (or other state of interest). The previous wave will be ``something else'', this wave will be ``unemployed''.
  3. More difficult: for those who have entered unemployment, determine whether you observe their exit from unemployment. (Hint: if you have stored the wave number of entry to unemployment do loop #i = entry+1 to 11....)
